Set up Outlook on iPhone

Preferably use the Outlook app from Microsoft on your iPhone. Or you can use the native Mail app on iPhone to access your Accelerant mail account.

See the instructions below to set up the Mail app or install the Outlook app on iPhone.

Set up you Microsoft 365 email in the iOS Mail app on iPhone

Go to your iPhone or iPad’s Settings > scroll down and tap Mail > Accounts  > Add Account.

Select Exchange.

Enter your Microsoft 365 email address and a description for your account. Tap Next.

Exchange Sign In

Tap Sign In. Tap Sign In if using O365 or tap Configure Manually if you have your organization's server settings.

Enter the password associated with your email account. Tap Sign in or Next.Enter your O365 work or school account password.

The Mail app may request certain permissions. Tap Accept.

Tap Allow if prompted to give permission.

Choose the services you want to sync with your iOS device and tap Save. You’re done!Account sync settings

Using the Outlook app

As an alternative to the native Mail app you can also use the Outlook app on your iPhone.

Step 1

Download Outlook for iOS from the iOS App Store and then open it. The icon looks like this:

If it’s your first time using Outlook for iOS, enter your full email address, then tap Add Account.

If not, open the Menu > tap Settings Outlook app settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.

If you’re asked to select your email provider, please contact your IT admin for support as there may be a misconfiguration.

Enter your email account password and tap Sign In.

Note: The sign in screen may look different for you depending on your email provider.

Enter your Outlook.com password

Step 5

If multi-factor authentication is enabled, verify your identity. For more information, see Security info overview.

Check your text messages and enter the 6 digit code.

Accept any prompts for permission you may receive.

Swipe through the features and you’re now ready to use Outlook for iOS!
